Based on 1,665 reviewsZam Zam is widely appreciated for its authentic Pakistani and halal cuisine, particularly its flavorful biryani and generously portioned chicken dishes that resonate well with customers seeking traditional tastes. Reviewers frequently highlight the affordability and value for money, noting large portions at reasonable prices. The restaurant’s straightforward, no-frills ambiance and efficient, friendly staff add to the overall positive experience. While some find the setting more casual and akin to a takeaway spot, the quality of the food remains a consistent strength. Small touches, such as freshly prepared items and accommodations for halal diners, further enhance its appeal among local patrons.
The biryani is good but the chicken curry dry with bones is brilliant. This is very close to what we get in Kolkata. Must try, highly recommended. We did a takeaway. The biryani had 4 small pieces of chicken which is fair enough for the price. The chicken curry we had a medium size and they gave around 6 pieces which is great. The staff are amazing and helpful.
Best chicken biryanis ever. Staff is very good and efficient. The place looks and feels very simplistic yet the best part is the delicious food it serves. A must try for anyone and everyone who loves Indian cuisine.
Just a quick review, popped in for breakfast and had the tea and aloo paratha, I was expecting a pre heated aloo paratha but to my surprise it was cooked fresh and rather large, the tea was OK nothing special but the aloo paratha was nice, if you are nearby, worth the visit.
Some of the best Byriani you can find anywhere (not mentioning the proce- 3 quids for a large portion). This place looks more like a takeaway place than a restaurant but there are a few tables as well. One surprising thing about the other dishes, we had to microwave them, but they were delicious too. And there is even a praying mat for the hungry believers.
The food is good. Can taste the herbs and spices. The chicken is so generous. The price is affordable and the portion is good
Halal tasty cheap large portion of chicken briyani near terminal 2/3 London Heathrow, also available prayer area. Great take away too. Super recommended
Just had lunch here with my misses. The best seller is chicken byriani, which is very tasty. We bought a large one for 3.50 and shared it. (I know how to treat a woman. Lol ) Be prepared to queue, but that's a good sign right? A no frills place serving excellent home cooked food at low prices.
Hello guys, this place is AMAZING. I had ordered a large biryani with alooo keema, Bihari chicken and chai, which tasted phenomenal. The biryani is the best form of rice I have ever tasted and the keema rivals my mom’s cooking. Furthermore, the Bihari chicken had a nice smoky flavour and the chai was beautiful. Finally, I read asr and went home. This is a top class restraunt and I highly recommend.
